CURRICULUM CAMP THEME SONG COMPETITION

Derrick Mensah, an Area 8 Pathfinder from Southend Pathfinder Club, has written numerous theme songs for Pathfinder camps including:
  • - My Prayer
  • - Here I am Lord
  • - Forged through the fire
  • - Anchored
Derrick is now off to university studying but has developed such a love for worshiping God with his music that he continues to lead choirs and play music at church services whenever he gets the opportunity.

Area 8 Pathfinder Leaders agree that this is what Pathfindering should do for our kids - It should expose them to opportunities and various ways to serve God, knowing that experiences first hand in Pathfinders, could become a way of life.

So, we have come up with a Theme Song Competition.

The Theme of our Curriculum Camp this year is COURAGEOUS.  Your challange, should you choose to accept, is to write a song that follows this Theme.  The winning song will be used as the Theme song for our Area 8 2017 Curriculum Camp.

Theme: COURAGEOUS
Deadline: APRIL 15th, 2017
What:  LYRICS & MUSIC
Submission: A demo to be submitted by email or whats app to your club leader who will get it to the Area 8 Pathfinder Coordinator

Guidance: Make it young, fresh and catchy; make the words meaningful; let it be a song that will challenge the listener and singer to dare to be courageous - to dare to make a stand for God.

A PRIZE WILL BE GIVEN AT CAMP FOR THE WINNING SONG!!!
